COLUMBUS – Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost filed an appeal of a ruling striking down abortion restrictions in the state.
Yost says the state constitution amendment ratifying abortion rights did not address provisions in the law… and a court has to settle those conflicts.
Ohio’s six-week abortion ban is “one of the strictest in the nation,” according to WOUB.
Last year, Ohio voters approved Issue 1, a constitutional amendment protecting access to abortion.
