MARSHALL COUNTY, W.Va. – Marshall County Schools has launched an initiative to offset rising West Virginia PEIA premiums, reports say.

Starting in July, school district employees will receive a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) card preloaded with $1,000 to $2,000. The funds can be used to cover health care expenses like prescriptions, copays, and dental or vision costs not covered by insurance.

Employees may use the funds on the card to cover any health care expenses applied toward their deductible.

Marshall County Schools is offering the HRA to support employees as West Virginia’s PEIA premiums are expected to increase starting July 1, 2025.
