ODNR updates Martins Ferry officials on Austin Master radioactive waste cleanup

MARTINS FERRY, Ohio – The Ohio Department of Natural Resources told the City of Martins Ferry that cleanup crews have removed most of the debris at the former Austin Master Services facility.

ODNR says it has started power washing and verifying removal of contaminates.

The Austin Master Services facility processed radioactive fracking wastewater until ODNR closed it for permit violations in 2024.  Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost investigated the facility and Brad Domitrovitsch, the man Yost identified as being in charge of the company.
