ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio — It will be lights, camera, action! again at the Ohio Valley Mall later this year when Golden Ticket Cinemas opens its new movie theater.
While an exact opening date has not been announced, Golden Ticket Cinemas President John Bloemeke said the goal is to open in the fourth quarter of 2025, ideally in time for the holiday season.
Joe Bell, Director of Corporate Communications for the Cafaro Company, owner of the Ohio Valley Mall says the new theater will feature eight screens, including one Elite auditorium boasting a 53-foot-wide by 30-foot-high screen. Seating options will include reclining single and double seats with optional heating features. Guests can also expect expanded food and beverage menus, deliver-to-seat service and upgraded audio and visual technology.
The upcoming venue will be Golden Ticket Cinemas’ first location in Ohio, joining its growing network of 122 screens across 19 locations in 12 states. Founded in 2017, the company is known for delivering a modern and luxurious movie-going experience.
Golden Ticket Cinemas’ new movie theater will fill the entertainment gap left when the AMC theater closed in the Ohio Valley Mall in September 2024.
So butter the popcorn and get ready for the show to start at the new Golden Ticket Cinemas at the Ohio Valley Mall later this year!
