Major structure fire in Bellaire early Monday morning

BELLAIRE, Ohio – Multiple fire departments responded to a structure fire early Monday morning at DeVendra’s Auto Care and Tire Center at 601 34th Street in Bellaire.

According to reports, the fire call went out at 3:09 a.m. and firefighters were on the scene between 3:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

As of 6 a.m. Monday morning, the fire is mostly knocked down but crews are still handling hot spots.

There is no word yet about the extent of damage or if there were any injuries.

Ten tankers were on scene. Some of the many fire departments responding included Bellaire, Spirit of 76 and Martins Ferry.
