WELLSBURG, W.Va. – A multi-state pursuit of a stolen vehicle resulted in the arrest of a
Moundsville resident.
Police say Wellsburg police received a report of a stolen vehicle shortly after 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.
A Brooke County Sheriff’s Deputy saw the vehicle turn onto the Wellsburg Bridge where the driver, whom authorities identified as Brian Keith Pyles, drove across, stopping the vehicle near Hill Street and Cleaver Street in Brilliant.
Pyles was arrested and will face charges in both Ohio and West Virginia for vehicle theft and related offenses.
