CHARLESTON, W.Va. – SNAP recipients in West Virginia will now have the ability to purchase some deli hot food items with their EBT cards.
But there are limits to what you can buy. Most items are acceptable as long as they aren’t deep fried or smothered in cream sauces.
The details of the waiver came out after a public records request release.
SNAP is the food assistance program formerly known as food stamps.
