OHIO and W.Va. – The West Virginia Division of Highways issued the following traffic advisory for I-470:
A portion of Interstate 470 eastbound from Ohio (Bellaire-Bridgeport) to West Virginia (Wheeling) will have the right lane closed and the Interstate 470 eastbound on ramp in Ohio from 6 p.m. beginning on Monday, June 23, 2025 through 6 a.m. on Thursday,, July 3 2025 for bridge maintenance.
Work is being performed at night to minimize the impact of the traveling public. Motorists are advised to follow detour signs reduce speed and expect delays.
Alternate Routes: Use Interstate 470 westbound to Ohio County Route 214 Exit 3.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
