MORRISTOWN, Ohio – The Union Local Afterburner Committee says it has officially acquired a decommissioned F-16 fighter jet from the U.S Air Force to be installed as a school exhibit.
Committee members say they feel like they’ve hit the lottery as this is the first time the Air Force has gifted an aircraft used by the Thunderbirds aerobatic demonstration team to the public.
It will go on display next spring in Morristown.
