BRIDGEPORT, Ohio – With kickoff just weeks away, the Bridgeport Bulldogs are preparing for a challenging 2025 football slate under second-year head coach Andrew Yahn.
The Bulldogs open the season on the road against Frontier on Aug. 21 before facing Shenandoah on Aug. 29. Their home opener is set for Sept. 5 against East Palestine. Other key matchups include a Sept. 13 trip to Steubenville Catholic for a special Saturday edition of Friday Night Rivals and an Oct. 17 road test against rival Shadyside.
One of the most anticipated games of the season comes on Oct. 11, when Bridgeport hosts Oak Glen in a 1 p.m. kickoff — selected as a featured Ohio Valley Game of the Week, broadcast live by The River Network on River Talk 1290/100.1 FM.

Yahn, a West Virginia University graduate, enters his second season at the helm after a 3–8 campaign in 2024. His coaching résumé includes four years as an assistant at Wheeling Park and two seasons at West Liberty University.
The Bulldogs will once again take the field at Jobko Stadium at Perkins Field, playing on natural grass in their Columbia Blue, Black, and White colors. The program’s last conference title came in 1979, but Bridgeport has made seven playoff appearances, most recently in 2024.
