EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio — A Columbiana County man is facing drug charges after a search warrant and arrest Tuesday led to the seizure of suspected cocaine, fentanyl, and other narcotics from a suspect, a private residence and local bar.
Columbiana County Sheriff Brian McLaughlin said the Columbiana County Drug Task Force, assisted by East Liverpool police, executed a search warrant Aug. 26 on Blakely Street in East Liverpool. The suspect, identified as Tysin Gordon, also known as “T,” was not at the residence but was located minutes later at Lena’s Lounge, 639 St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, where officers detained him.
Crack cocaine was found on Gordon during the arrest, investigators said. A further search of Lena’s Lounge, conducted with the owner’s consent, turned up additional drugs and evidence of trafficking.
In total, agents recovered more than 15 grams of cocaine from Gordon’s person and hidden under a floor mat near the rear entrance, about 6 grams of fentanyl stashed in a gravel pile on the back patio, and roughly 40 suboxone strips nearby. Officers also found packaging materials and other items consistent with drug trafficking scattered throughout the bar.
The Drug Task Force thanked the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office, Columbiana County Prosecutor’s Office, and the police departments of Salem, East Liverpool, Lisbon, and Columbiana for assisting in the investigation.
