WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. — Enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of a traditional country fair this week as the West Alexander Fair showcases local agriculture this week. The fair runs all this week from September 2 to Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the West Alexander Fairgrounds, located at 116 U.S. Route 40 in Washington County.
The fair kicked off Monday. It promises a full lineup of entertainment, competitions, and activities for all ages. Fairgoers can enjoy agricultural and livestock exhibits, a Fair Queen contest, antique machinery displays, and skilled chainsaw carving demonstrations. Competitions such as tractor pulls, truck pulls, rodeo events, and a demolition derby are also on the schedule.
