WETZEL COUNTY, W.Va. – The West Virginia Division of Highways announced more roadwork news for Wetzel County.
County Route 7/1 (Tarpen Ridge Road) closure, from 7:30 a.m. to
5:30 p.m., has been extended, through mid-September 2025, for a slip repair. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated.
Alternate Route: Use County Route 7/1 (Tarpen Ridge Road) to County Route 5 (Limestone
Road) to County Route 3 (Doolin Ridge Road).
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
