MINGO JUNCTION, Ohio — For the first time in five years, traffic on Ohio State Route 7 near Mingo Junction will soon return to four open lanes as rockfall remediation work wraps up.
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced that the closed lanes are set to reopen in the coming days as crews complete finishing touches on the long-term project.
ODOT also provided an update on another major project in the region, saying construction on the new pedestrian bridge crossing Route 7 in Martins Ferry is expected to be completed by the end of October.
