ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio — Mayor Kathryn Thalman has announced that the city will host a new community art show in October at the Unified Junior Rec Center.
Themed Animals & Nature, the exhibition aims to celebrate creativity while showcasing the talents of local artists. Thalman said the event reflects her vision of St. Clairsville as a city that values more than athletics and recreation.
How to Participate
Artists interested in entering must complete an enrollment form and waiver, available on the city’s website. The enrollment deadline is September 19 at 4:30 p.m. Artists must be 18 or older and live within 20 miles of St. Clairsville.
Participants may submit up to two pieces per medium, with a maximum of two mediums. Accepted categories include painting, photography, drawing, small or medium sculpture, and mixed media.

Mayor Thalman said she hopes the show will encourage residents to appreciate the natural beauty of the region.
