ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The City of St. Clairsville celebrated the arts Wednesday with the opening of its first-ever community art show at the St. Clairsville Recreation Center.
The inaugural event, themed “Animals and Nature,” drew 35 entries from local artists — including submissions from Mayor Kathryn Thalman herself.
The public is invited to view the artwork today from 5 to 8 p.m. A wine and cheese reception is also scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m., giving the community another opportunity to enjoy the exhibit and support local talent.
Organizers said they hope the art show becomes an annual tradition to showcase creativity and bring residents together.
