JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio — Steubenville is preparing to bid farewell to longtime Mayor Jerry Barilla, who will conclude his eight-year tenure at the start of 2026.
A community reception honoring Barilla’s years of service will be held Thursday, November 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Froehlich’s Classic Corner. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at Froehlich’s or at City Hall.
The event will give residents and colleagues an opportunity to thank Barilla for his leadership and dedication to the city during his two terms in office.
