BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — About 25.4% of registered voters in Belmont County cast ballots in the November 2025 general election, according to unofficial results from the Belmont County Board of Elections.
Total voters: 10,659 with 8,012 votes cast in person Tuesday and 2,647 absentee ballots

Municipal Races
- St. Clairsville Ward 4 Council: Mike Kasper defeated Terra Butler, 140 votes to 111.
- Barnesville Village Council: Brad English, Mark Lewis, Leslie Tickhill, and Tony Johnson were elected.
- Bethesda Village Council: Ruth Saffell, Jay Van Horn, Shirley Lucas, and Carol Ann Merritt won seats.
- Shadyside Mayor: Mike Meintel won decisively over John Ferrelli, 676 to 253.
- Shadyside Village Council: John Longwell, Melanie Haswell, Brandon Parr, Robert Gorrell, Lisa Duvall, and Sam Carpino won six open council seats.
- Yorkville Village Council: Robert Zitzelsberger, David Spong, Doug DelVecchio, and Cindy Norman were elected to council.
Township Trustee Races
- Flushing Township: Rickey Withrow and Scott Roush were elected trustees.
- Kirkwood Township: Alexander Schafer and Kevin Arigoni won trustee seats.
- Mead Township: Paul Merryman and Clyde Hammond were elected trustees.
- Richland Township: Incumbents Rick Ferrell and Jim DeNoble held their seats; Jay Stephens finished third.
- Smith Township: Michael DeLaney and Ronald Duvall were elected trustees.
