JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio – A pickup truck driver was killed Thursday in a rollover crash just outside of Amsterdam in Jefferson County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s New Philadelphia Post, the vehicle was traveling along Bergholz Road Northeast when it went off the roadway and overturned. Troopers responded to the scene and confirmed the driver died as a result of the crash.
The Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the accident. No additional details, including the victim’s identity, have been released.
