BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — One firefighter was injured Monday afternoon while responding to a garage fire on Elm Street in Lansing in Belmont County.
The fire was reported just before 5 p.m. Crews arrived within minutes and were able to contain the flames to the garage, preventing the fire from spreading to the nearby home.
Officials have not released details on the firefighter’s injury or condition, but no other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and the scene remains under investigation by local authorities.
