COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Governor Mike DeWine on Friday signed into law a ban on intoxicating hemp products, including beverages and all forms of low-level THC
The law gives retailers 90 days to remove affected products from shelves. Some business owners have already indicated plans to challenge the ban in court, while others are considering organizing a statewide referendum to overturn the measure.
Supporters of the legislation say it is necessary to protect public health, while opponents argue it could hurt small businesses and limit consumer choice.
