Tuscarawas County Group Launches “30 Actions for 30 Days” for Human Trafficking Awareness Month

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio — January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and a Tuscarawas County organization is encouraging the community to get involved through simple, meaningful actions.

Tusc Against Trafficking, a New Philadelphia–based organization, is inviting residents to participate in its “30 Actions for 30 Days” initiative throughout the month of January. The campaign highlights one small action each day aimed at raising awareness about human trafficking and supporting those affected by it.

Organizers say the daily actions range from collecting essential donation items to learning about the signs of human trafficking, sharing information, and starting important conversations within the community. The goal is to build awareness, provide resources, and empower residents with knowledge that can help make a difference.

Tusc Against Trafficking says that while each action may seem small, the combined impact can lead to meaningful change and greater community support for victims and survivors.

More information about the organization and the “30 Actions for 30 Days” campaign is available at TuscAgainstTrafficking.org or on the group’s Facebook page.
