COLUMBUS, Ohio — In the wake of a high-profile case involving the misuse of public funds in Minnesota, Ohio Auditor Keith Faber has revised his agency’s website to make it easier for the public to submit evidence of fraud involving the payment of public funds.
Faber says the changes are intended to improve transparency and accountability by streamlining the process for reporting suspected fraud, waste, or abuse tied to taxpayer dollars.
The updated website provides clearer instructions and a more direct way for individuals to submit documentation and information to the Auditor of State’s office for review.
Officials say the changes are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen oversight and protect public funds across Ohio.
