WETZEL COUNTY, W.Va. — A portion of WV 7 (Mountaineer Highway) at the Duerns Run Bridge will be restricted to one lane during daytime hours next week for core drilling work.
The lane restriction will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, January 12, and Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Flaggers will be on site to maintain traffic flow.
Motorists are advised to slow down and expect minor delays while traveling through the area.
Officials note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could result in changes to the project schedule.
