OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. — A portion of County Route 40/2 (Springdale Avenue) in Wheeling will be restricted to one lane beginning Tuesday, January 20, 2026, for a gas line installation project.
The lane restriction will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is expected to continue through early March. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers or temporary traffic signals.
Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays while traveling through the area.
Officials say inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could result in changes to the project schedule.
