STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — Steubenville Police say they do not suspect foul play in the deaths of two people found inside a vehicle near Franciscan University.
Officers were called to an area near St. Agnes Hall along University Boulevard around midday Monday, where they discovered a man and a woman deceased inside a vehicle.
Franciscan University confirmed the two individuals were students from out of state.
Police say preliminary information suggests the deaths were caused by a malfunction involving the vehicle’s engine or exhaust system. The incident remains under investigation.
