BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – Federal Environmental Protection Agency officials from Region V will conduct an investigation at the former Austin Master Services site in Martins Ferry in the coming months.
The investigation could result in the site being designated either as a Brownfield or a Superfund site, depending on the findings. Authorities say the process will assess environmental contamination and determine potential cleanup and redevelopment options.
