BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – Martins Ferry officials may run into a time crunch in their effort to certify a renewal levy for funding the city police.
The Belmont County Board of Elections must receive the certified levy amount by February 4 for placement on the spring ballot.
The Ohio spring primary election is scheduled for May 5.
