CANTON, Ohio — An Ohio woman got a birthday gift she’ll never forget: a bouquet of 60 Ohio Lottery scratch-off tickets from her best friend.
Wendy the winner from Canton spent part of her birthday party scratching some tickets and saved the rest for later. On the very last ticket, she hit the jackpot — a $20,000 prize. After taxes, Wendy will take home about $14,650.
She plans to put the winnings toward paying off credit card debt and treating her friend to a girls’ trip to Punta Cana.
