BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – Shadyside officials are addressing property issues in their town with a proposed property nuisance ordinance.
Junk cars, trash, tall grass and excessive noise are some things the measure would tackle and residents who violate the ordinance could be fined $100.
Shadyside Council introduced the ordinance at Wednesday’s council meeting. They will take a vote on it Feb. 11 and have a third reading in March when it could go into effect if council votes in the affirmative.
