BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — Belmont County is set to receive $4 million in federal funding for improvements to the Blaine Barton Road and U.S. Route 40 intersection, as well as preservation work on the historic Blaine “S” Bridge.
According to U.S. Representative Michael Rulli’s office, the funding is intended to support infrastructure upgrades while aiding in the historic preservation of the well-known bridge.
Officials say the project is expected to enhance safety and maintain the historical significance of the area.
