ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio — Ohio University Eastern, in partnership with the Underground Railroad Museum, has assembled a collection of 20 historical items for a new exhibit on campus.
The exhibit, titled “Echoes of the Underground Railroad,” highlights artifacts connected to the region’s role in the historic network that helped enslaved people escape to freedom.
The public is invited to view the exhibit; however, appointments are required. Those interested must call Ohio University Eastern at (740) 695-1720 in advance to schedule a visit.
