OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. — The Interstate 70 on-ramp near the Perkins intersection in Wheeling will experience intermittent closures Friday, February 27, 2026, for aerial cable installation.
The on-ramp will have four separate 15-minute closures between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers during the work.
Motorists are advised to slow down and use caution while traveling through the area.
Officials note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could alter the project schedule.
