BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — The Belmont County Auditor’s Office has received written confirmation from the Internal Revenue Service that a lien of more than $500,000 against the office has been fully abated.
The lien stemmed from claims by the IRS that the Auditor’s Office had not complied with requirements for tax year 2021.
