COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio – Police in East Liverpool are continuing their investigation after a pipe bomb was discovered in the city over the weekend.
Authorities say the device was found Saturday around 11:30 a.m. and described it as a “dangerous ordinance.” Photos from the scene in the area of Avondale Street suggest the object was a pipe bomb.
Officials say the device was disposed of by “appropriate authorities.” As of early Tuesday morning, police had not identified any suspects and no arrests have been made in the case.
