WHEELING, W.Va. — WVU Medicine’s Wheeling Hospital is inviting Ohio Valley residents to prioritize their health this summer through a series of free community wellness events in downtown Wheeling.
Hospital officials announced plans to host multiple “Health Fairs on the Plaza” throughout the summer months at the Market Street Plaza, offering residents access to healthcare resources, wellness information, and opportunities to connect with medical professionals in a relaxed community setting.
The initiative is aimed at encouraging preventative care and helping families take simple steps toward improving their overall health while strengthening community engagement across the region.
Organizers say the events are designed for residents of all ages and will provide an accessible environment for learning more about healthy living and local healthcare services outside of traditional clinical settings.
