PARIS, Pa. — Families looking for a fun and affordable outdoor activity this weekend will have a chance to cast a line and make memories during the upcoming Kid’s Fishing Day at the Paris Sportsmen Club Lake.
The free event is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, and organizers say children of all ages are welcome to participate.
Fishing is set to begin at 9:00 a.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring their own fishing pole. Event organizers noted that some bait will be provided during the event.
In addition to a day on the water, kids can also look forward to various prizes and a small lunch that will be provided for participants.
The event will take place at the Paris Sportsmen Club Lake located along Paris Lake Road in Paris, Pennsylvania.
Organizers say the event is designed to encourage kids to spend time outdoors, enjoy nature, and experience the fun of fishing in a family-friendly atmosphere.
