The West Virginia Division of Highways has announced a temporary lane restriction on County Route 1, also known as Short Creek Road, in Ohio County.
Officials say the roadway will be reduced to one lane from milepost 2.17 to milepost 4.67 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Tuesday, June 2, through Thursday, June 4, for road maintenance work.
Motorists traveling through the area are advised to slow down and expect delays.
The project schedule may change because of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
