Byesville Blast Returns June 27 With Parade, Demonstrations and Fireworks

BYESVILLE, Ohio — Residents and visitors are invited to celebrate the annual Byesville Blast on Saturday, June 27, with a full day of family-friendly activities, entertainment and a fireworks finale.

Hosted by the Village of Byesville in partnership with Byesville Fire and EMS and the Byesville Police Department, the event will take place from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Activities begin at 3 p.m. as food vendors, craft vendors and community booths open to the public. Registration for the cornhole tournament will also begin at that time, followed by live entertainment starting at 3:30 p.m.

Parade participants are asked to line up at 5 p.m. near Famous Supply and the adjacent church parking lot. The parade is scheduled to step off at 6 p.m. and will travel to South Second Street.

The evening’s schedule continues with the cornhole tournament at 7 p.m., along with additional live entertainment and an auto extrication demonstration presented by Byesville Fire and EMS.

At 8 p.m., Officer Gombeda and K-9 Rex of the Byesville Police Department will present a K-9 demonstration before more live music begins at 9 p.m.

The celebration will conclude with a fireworks display after dark.

Organizers encourage families from across the region to attend and enjoy an evening of entertainment, community activities and patriotic celebration in downtown Byesville.
