BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — A Bellaire man will spend two and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple sex offenses involving minors.
James Louis White, 26, pleaded guilty to one count of importuning and two counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor during a court appearance in Belmont County.
Judge John Vavra accepted White’s guilty pleas and imposed a 30-month prison sentence as part of a plea agreement reached in the case.
In addition to serving time in prison, White will be classified as a Tier II sex offender.
Under that classification, White will be required to register his address with authorities every 180 days for 25 years following his release from prison.
The sentence was imposed immediately after White entered his guilty pleas.
