A newly resurfaced stretch of Pelkey’s Turn is now open to traffic following the completion of paving work in the area.
Photos of the completed project show fresh asphalt along the roadway, including portions that travel through residential areas and the curved section bordered by trees.
The project was completed by Ohio-West Virginia Excavating Company, which was thanked for its work on the improvements.
The resurfacing provides motorists with a smoother driving surface and marks the completion of another local roadway improvement project.
With paving work finished, Pelkey’s Turn has reopened for motorists.
