Wintersville Christmas Parade Set for December 6 as Village Prepares for Holiday Weekend

0

WINTERSVILLE, OHIO — The Village of Wintersville is preparing to celebrate the holiday season with its annual Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 6, 2026, beginning at 4 p.m.

The parade will bring holiday festivities to Main Street as residents and families gather to enjoy the Christmas celebration.

The event is part of Wintersville Winter Weekend, a two-day holiday celebration scheduled for Saturday, December 5, and Sunday, December 6.

Village officials are also reminding motorists to prepare for road closures and traffic delays during the parade.

Main Street will be closed from the 100 block near Ferguson’s House of Furniture to the 800 block near Kroger while the parade is underway.

Drivers will not be permitted to travel through the closed section until the parade has concluded and the roadway has reopened.

Motorists who do not plan to attend are encouraged to use alternate routes and allow additional travel time.

Rather than navigating the traffic delays, village officials are inviting residents to join the festivities and celebrate the holiday season with their neighbors.

The Christmas Parade is expected to be one of the highlights of Wintersville Winter Weekend, offering families an opportunity to gather and enjoy a community holiday tradition.

Residents planning to attend should remember that the parade begins at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 6, and that Main Street will be temporarily closed during the event.

Additional details about Wintersville Winter Weekend activities may be announced as the celebration approaches.
