CLEVELAND, Ohio — New details are emerging about the proposal to build a new stadium for the Cleveland Browns.
According to a term sheet obtained by WEWS, the agreement includes a provision to extend the team’s lease at the current Cleveland Browns Stadium for an additional two years while plans for the new facility move forward.
Cleveland City Council was set to meet today to discuss and consider the deal. Further updates on the proposal and its impact on taxpayers and the city’s waterfront development are expected following the meeting.
