WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has announced $585,000 in grant funding for 30 Ohio arts organizations and individuals. This is part of the NEA’s first round of funding for federal fiscal year 2025, which includes 1,474 grants totaling $36,790,500 nationally.
$355,000 dollars in National Endowment of Arts grants in Ohio went to the Buckeye State’s three big metro regions in the Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati areas.
West Virginia received three grants totaling $70,000. Allison Pitinii Davis of Wheeling received $25,000 to support a creative writing fellowship.
Established by Congress in 1965, the National Endowment for the Arts is an independent federal agency that is the largest funder of the arts and arts education in communities nationwide and a catalyst of public and private support for the arts.
