STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — The City of Steubenville announced that Lovers Lane will be closed to all traffic from Bryden Road to Sinclair Avenue on Tuesday, April 22, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This temporary closure is necessary to complete restoration of the road sub base following a recent water main valve replacement.
During this time, construction crews will be working to install a new concrete base for the roadway.
Additionally, on Wednesday, April 23, crews will return to the site to restore the asphalt surface. Lane closures are expected throughout the day as part of the ongoing restoration work.
The City encourages the traveling public to plan ahead and use alternate routes to avoid delays during the construction period.
City officials said they appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as they continue efforts to improve the water system and infrastructure.
