MARSHALL COUNTY, W.Va. -The West Virginia Division of Highways issued a traffic advisory for Marshall County.

A section of County Route 17 (Fork Ridge Road) in Moundsville will be restricted to one lane starting Wednesday, April 30, as crews begin slip repair work near milepost 0.45.

The lane restriction will be in effect daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is expected to continue through mid-June.

Traffic will be directed by flaggers. Drivers are urged to reduce speed, expect delays, and plan ahead when traveling through the area.

Emergency vehicles and school buses will be accommodated throughout the project.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes, including US 250 (Waynesburg Pike) and County Route 54 (Big Grave Creek) to avoid delays.

Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen conditions may impact the project timeline.
