Menards Launches Summer Food Drive to Support Local Pantries

OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. — The Menards home improvement store at The Highlands in Triadelphia is now serving as a drop-off site for local food pantries through the months of June and July.

The store’s summer food drive, which runs from June 1 through July 31, invites shoppers to donate non-perishable food items to help community members in need. Donations can be placed in a large collection box located near the store’s exit doors.

Menards offers a wide variety of suitable items for donation, including canned soups, vegetables, pasta, cereal, and other shelf-stable products available for immediate purchase in the store’s grocery section.

Store representatives say they are proud to be part of the effort to support local families and are encouraging customers to lend a helping hand by contributing to the food drive during their visit.

All collected items will be delivered to local food pantries serving residents in the Ohio County area.

Menards stores nationwide will also participate in the food drive to help their own local communities.
