Wheeling Board of Realtors Secures $100,000 in Relief Aid for Flood Victims

WHEELING, W.Va. — In the aftermath of the devastating June 14 floods that damaged homes and displaced families across Ohio and Marion counties, the West Virginia Association of Realtors (WVAR), in partnership with the Wheeling Board of Realtors, announced the receipt of a $100,000 disaster relief grant from the National Association of Realtors’ (NAR) Realtors Relief Foundation (RRF).

This funding will support families impacted by the flood with essential housing-related expenses, including emergency repairs, temporary rentals and hotel stays for those displaced.

“When we see our neighbors hurting, we show up,” said Shelley Crake, President of the Wheeling Board of Realtors. “This grant is more than just financial help—it’s a message that you are not alone. The real estate community across the country is standing with West Virginia families during this difficult time.”
