8/4/2025 @ 0928 hrs. a subject came on station to request a welfare check done. Information was gathered for a report.
8/4/2025 @ 1438 hrs. deputies responded to Moorefield Twp. residence for a subject experiencing mental health issues. Information was gathered for report.
8/4/2025 @ 1751 hrs. deputies & Cadiz PD were dispatched to a road rage incident on Cadiz New Athens Rd. Information was gathered for a report.
8/4/2025 @ 2127 hrs. a subject came to the Sheriff’s Office to forfeit a CCW Permit pending an investigation.
8/5/2025 @ 0055 hrs. Cristal Cronin was cited for Left of Center and Failure to Reinstate by a Deputy out of a traffic stop on Miller Station Road.
8/5/2025 @ 0316 hrs. a deputy responded to a one vehicle accident on Jewett Scio Rd. Information was gathered for a report.
8/5/25 @ 1413 hrs. deputies responded to a Cemetery Rd (North Twp) address for a person refusing to leave the premises. The person willingly left once deputies arrived.
8/5/2025 @ 1104 hrs. Rachel M. Smith was cited for driving under suspension by a deputy out of a traffic stop on Cadiz Dennison Rd.
8/5/2025 @ 1515 hrs. an incident occurred at the courthouse while a prisoner was being escorted to court. Information was gathered for a report and additional charges against the inmate are pending.
8/5/2025 @ 1841 hrs. a deputy took a report of a hit skip accident on McGonigal Road, in Franklin Township.
8/5/2025 @ 2100 hrs. deputies were dispatched to an East Main Street (Freeport) business for an alarm activation. Upon arrival everything was found to be alright.
8/5/2025 @ 2220 hrs. report complete and forwarded to Prosecutor’s Office for vandalism charges, involving juveniles, at a Walnut St. Scio business.
8/6/2025 @ 0024 hrs. deputies responded to the Tappan Park for a intoxicated subject attempting to leave in a vehicle and possibly a domestic altercation. The subject was located and voluntarily left with a family member. Information was gathered for a report.
8/6/2025 @ 1100 hrs. deputies responded to a Busby Dr. Bowerston address for an altercation that was occurring. After investigating, Conrad Oswald was arrested for menacing.
8/6/2025 @ 1203 hrs. a deputy assisted Cadiz Police in locating a runaway juvenile in Jewett. The juvenile was turned over to Cadiz Police.
8/6/2025 @ 1609 hrs. deputies were dispatched to Allensworth Drive, Scio (Hilltop Apartments) for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival one individual had already fled the scene. The incident was determined to be all verbal with no criminal charges filed. Information gathered for a report.
8/6/2025 @ 1639 hrs. a deputy responded to assist DJFS at a residence in Moorefield Township on a sexual assault investigation. A juvenile was taken into custody and taken to Sargus Juvenile Detention Center on sexual assault related charges.
8/6/2025 @ 2245 hours deputies responded to an East Main Street in Scio address for a domestic altercation. All parties were separated and no charges filed.
8/7/2025 @ 2349 hrs. James Weber was cited for Headlights Required and Willful Wanton Disregard of Safety by a deputy out of a traffic stop in Scio.
8/7/2025 @ 0257 hrs. John Arnder was cited for speeding and driving under suspension by a deputy out of a traffic stop on Cadiz-Dennison Road. Additional drug related charges are pending.
8/7/2025 @ 0442 hrs. a juvenile was cited for multiple traffic offenses by a deputy out of a traffic stop on E. Muskingum St. in Freeport.
8/7/2025 @ 0514 hrs. deputies responded to Harrison Community Hospital for a subject with a gunshot wound to the hand. After an investigation, it was determined to be accidental.
8/7/2025 @ 1215 hrs. a deputy responded to a Cadiz Piedmont Rd. address for a welfare check. Contact was made with parties involved and all appeared ok at that time.
8/7/2025 @ 1607 hrs. deputies were dispatched to a Busby Dr (Bowerston) address for a dispute. Upon arrival and investigating the matter, Conrad Oswald was arrested for menacing and persistent disorderly conduct.
8/7/2025 @ 2239 hrs. deputies responded to a domestic violence incident on Scio- Bowerston Road. Jaime Beavers was arrested. Carroll County is handling the investigation.
8/8/2025 @ 0118 hours Cyndie Morrell was cited for Driving Under Suspension, Willful wanton Disregard of Safety and Defective Exhaust by Deputies out of a traffic on Main Street in Jewett.
8/8/2025 @ 1241 hrs. Adam Miner was cited for disobeying a traffic control device by a deputy out of a traffic stop on E. Main St. in Scio.
8/8/2025 @ 1302 hrs. a deputy was dispatched to a Hanover Ridge Rd address for a welfare check. Information gathered for a report.
8/8/2025 @ 1605 hrs. deputies were dispatched to a New Rumley Rd address for a deceased person. Upon arrival and investigating, it was determined no foul play suspected. Information gathered for a report.
