Ohioans Invited to Comment on Electric Grid Reliability

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Businesses and consumers across Ohio have about two weeks to make their voices heard on how the state tracks electric power service reliability.

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has been directed under Substitute House Bill 15 to update its reporting process and make recommendations to modernize the state’s electric power grid.

PUCO says it is seeking public input before finalizing its plan. Comments are due by October 3.

Officials say the feedback will help shape how utilities measure and report reliability, as well as guide future improvements to the power grid.

See the PUCO website for details.
